Exchanges and Zone Conference

Hey!!!๐Ÿ‘‹๐Ÿผ๐Ÿค

I hope everyone's week has been good!!  Sorry about no email last week haha but here we go again>>

EXCHANGES!! -
we had exchanges and wow so amazing!! I was on exchanges with our STL Hermana Jones and I gotta be a Hermana for a day๐Ÿ˜„ Hermana Jones is sooooo amazing wow she is such a great missionary. We had so many lessons and found A BUNCH of new friends! I couldn't understand anything because it was all Spanish but the spirit was so strong in every lesson. I told Hermana Jones that I wanted to learn how to pray in Spanish and so she taught me how to start the prayer and how to say "we give thanks for..." and then we ran out of time and had to go to a lesson. We get into the lesson and hermana Jones actually taught this friend how to pray and Im in the lesson and have no idea what they're talking about because its in spanish haha and Hermana Jones looks at me and says "I just explained to our friend that youre also learning how to pray but in Spanish do you wanna say our closing prayer in Spanish?" Im like uhhhh sure๐Ÿคฃ not really knowing how to pray let me tell you the gift of tongues is real hahaha it actually wasn't a bad prayer until I just started listing off random words I knew in Spanish... "amigoss" "el libro de mormon" "mi familia" "mi casa" ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚ I think the friend we were teaching appreciated it though and it made him more comfortable knowing he wasn't the only one learning!! Anyways exchanges were such a tender mercy!

CAPTION EXPLANATION-
Soooo... when elder gong and sister gong came and spoke to us sister gong invited us all to write a "solomn" about the lord and why we're grateful for him and she gave us layout of what to do and then followed up with "once you're done writing it you're going to send it to your mission president, and your mission president will write one too and send it out"  so I wrote a "solomn" on paper fully knowing what kind of "solomn" she meant and sent the picture of my hand-written "solomn" to my mission president.... then I went to type in the chat "here's my solomn" and it autocorrected to "psalm" and i laughed out loud in embarrassment because for some reason I kept writing "solomn" on my paper instead of the correct word "psalm" ๐Ÿคฆ‍♀️yes ive read psalms in the old testament and for some reason just wasn't thinking hahaha yeah all I got back from president was a thumbs up๐Ÿ˜… whoops!

ZONE CONFERENCE-
YAY we had such a good zone conference right after exchanges! It was so awesome! We learned so much from our mission president and his wife. It was also just so nice to be with all the other missionaries in our zone!! They fed us a super yummy lunch and we recited "The Living Christ" it was so spiritually uplifting๐Ÿ™

MOTHERS DAY-
yay it was mother's day yesterday! Me and my companions were able to make cute cards for all the moms and ladies in our wards and deliver them! We also went to go visit all the widows in our ward and it was so sweet to visit with them๐Ÿ’• they're our step in mom's right now while we're away from our mom's and they're so amazing!! It was such a bittersweet day because i missed my mom so much all day but I got to end the day calling her!!! It was so awesome! Happy late mothers day to all the amazing woman in my life๐Ÿ’—๐Ÿ’—๐Ÿ’—
